Mobile proxy providers split into two camps: operators running their own SIM and modem farms, and aggregators reselling ports from many small farms. The difference shows up in uptime and rotation reliability.
Farm operators control SIM sourcing, data plans, signal quality and rotation hardware. Aggregators offer wider geo coverage but inconsistent quality, since each underlying farm has its own uplink and maintenance standard.
Ask for the carrier name, the city, the modem model, the rotation API and the fair-use policy in writing. Then test: run a week of continuous traffic and log uptime, rotation success and how quickly support replies when a port drops.
Buy from an operator for mission-critical accounts and from an aggregator when you need exotic geos an operator does not cover.
